Thomas Thü Hürlimann founded Ecliptic
1994 in Switzerland.
You will

Thü has created for Macwelt Germany, Macworld Switzerland,
Computerworld, Midas Verlag, SmartBooks, Annabelle, Imagezoo
Canada and some other renowned publishers – and some of
the logotypes, corporate designs and advertisement campaigns
we have done for bands, corporates and agencies.
We also
have an extensive catalogue of
stock images online – especially for business and
enterprise computing related themes – you can license
for publication.
Graduated on the Academy Of Art (Hochschule für Gestaltung)
Zürich and since 1985 working as graphic designer and art
director for advertising agencies, publishers und graphic studios,
Thü offers a wide range of knowledge in illustration and graphic design. In fact Thü was one of the very first designers in Switzerland creating fullpage 4 colour vector illustrations on the computer in 1987, and one of the first incorporating animation and sound into webpages in 1995.
Our stiles and technics including drawing, painting, photo manipulation
and combination, computer graphics,
infographics, printgraphics, publicity campaigns, logotype & corporate design,
web design (since 1994), magazine layout, typography, illustration & animation in 2D & 3D, sounddesign & music composition, using tools like HTML, Flash, FreeHand, Photoshop, XPress,
Cinema 4D, Final Cut, iMovie, GarageBand, Myriad Harmony & Melody, FileMaker, Dreamweaver and others. We use respectively the technic to
fit to the job.
