Software patents: Europe did it right

June 2005 . There is no doubt whatsoever about what would happen to the small and medium businesses in Europe if the parliament accepted the actual directive on software patents: It would harm all that business that is crucial for progress in Europe, it would be a cut down for the European software market, it will be a sacrifice in favour of the big US software empires.

So, we are glad to see that the European parliament choosed the right decision and did not accept the directive. But we dont know what the future brings, big software companies have big influence in politics. Therefore we still have our collection of illustrations against software patents online.

We've created a special collection of stock illustrations
against software patents in Europe.
